HR POLICY MANUAL – INDIA
1. INTRODUCTION
This HR Policy Manual outlines the policies, procedures, and standards governing employment at Golden Relief Resources Limited (“the Company”) in India.
1.1 Policy Authority
The Company reserves the absolute right to interpret, amend, modify, suspend, or withdraw any provision of this manual at its sole discretion, with or without prior notice, subject to applicable laws. In case of any ambiguity, the interpretation of Management shall be final and binding.
1.2 No Contract of Employment
This manual does not constitute a contract of employment, express or implied, nor does it guarantee employment for any specific duration. Employment is governed solely by the individual employment agreement and applicable laws.
1.3 Governing Law
All policies shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India. In case of conflict, statutory provisions shall prevail.
1.4 Severability
If any provision is deemed invalid under law, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force.

3. GENERAL COMPETENCY FRAMEWORK

4. EMPLOYMENT FRAMEWORK
4.1 Employment Types
Direct Employees, Graduate Trainees (Develops), Contract Employees, and Special Contract Employees.
4.2 Probation
Probation period is up to 6 months. Employment may be terminated during probation without notice, subject to applicable law.
4.3 Conflict of Interest
Employees must disclose any potential conflict. Failure to do so may result in disciplinary action, including termination.
5. WORKING HOURS & ATTENDANCE
5.1 Working Hours
Standard office hours: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (Monday to Friday). Saturday: 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. (6 days workweek).
5.2 Attendance Requirements
Punch-in and punch-out are mandatory. Requests for manual attendance correction due to forgetting to punch in or out will generally not be entertained. Proxy attendance is strictly prohibited.
5.3 Grace & Late Policy
Grace period: up to 9:30 AM. After 9:15 AM, employees are expected to work till 7:00 PM. After 9:30 AM, it is counted as a half-day leave or salary deduction.
5.4 Monthly Flexibility
Two late arrivals (short leaves) up to 11:00 AM are allowed per month with approval (morning delay or early departure of up to 2 hours).
6. LEAVE POLICY (INDIA)
The leave year runs from 1st January to 31st December.
6.1 Sick Leave
Employees are eligible for 12 Sick Leaves per calendar year. A medical certificate is required for leaves exceeding 2 consecutive working days or hospitalization.
6.2 Casual Leave
Employees are eligible for 12 Casual Leaves per calendar year, accrued at 1 leave per completed month on a pro-rata basis. Unused leave will not carry forward or be encashed unless approved.
6.3 Additional / Advance Leave
Employees may take up to 33% additional leave beyond their available balance with Management approval (adjusted against future accruals or treated as LWP).
6.6 Maternity & Paternity Leave
Eligible female employees may avail up to 3 months of maternity leave. Eligible male employees may avail 2 working days of paternity leave within 30 days of childbirth.
6.8 Sandwich Leave Rule
Leaves taken in combination with weekly offs or public holidays immediately before and/or after such days will count the intervening holidays as leave. Maximum of two (2) relaxations per year are permitted with prior approval 3 months in advance.
6.9 Leave during Notice Period
Paid leaves are not allowed during the notice period.
